South West Edinburgh Community Navigator:
Health in Mind
Find out what’s going on in your local community
It can be hard to know what’s going on in your local area and how you can access the support and services you need. Getting involved in community groups or activities is a great way to make new friends and have fun! There is also lots of practical help out there that can make your life a lot easier – and more enjoyable.
In the South West our Community Navigator can support you to find out what is on in your local area; and how best to access the support you need.
Discover South West Edinburgh
Our twice-yearly magazine ‘Discover: South West Edinburgh’ outlines how to access support and services in the local area and talks about what to expect when you do. It also gives you and idea of the range of services available in the area. The first issue was published at the end of 2014 and we have recently published the 7th issue
We hold informal Information Stations across South West Edinburgh. Look out for us in your local supermarket, post office, GP surgery or library. The Information Stations will not only include a friendly face but also a wealth of knowledge about the services, groups and activities in South West Edinburgh.
