South West Edinburgh Community Navigator:

Health in Mind

Find out what’s going on in your local community

It can be hard to know what’s going on in your local area and how you can access the support and services you need. This becomes especially difficult when our lives are changing, for example after a fall that knocks our confidence or after the death of a loved one. Our Community Navigator and a team of friendly local volunteers will support you to find out what is on in your local area, and how you can access the support you need, in the way that you want.

Discover South West Edinburgh

Our twice-yearly magazine ‘Discover: South West Edinburgh’ outlines how to access support and services in the local area and talks about what to expect when you do. It also gives you and idea of the range of services available in the area. The first issue was published at the end of 2014 and we have recently published the second issue – which you can download Discover South West Issue 5

Information Stations

Across South West Edinburgh we hold informal Information Stations. The dates and locations of these are listed below. Look out for us in your local supermarket, post office, GP surgery or library. If you have ideas of where we should hold an Information Station, please let us know. The Information Stations will not only include a friendly face but also a wealth of knowledge about the services, groups and activities in South West Edinburgh. We have regular weekly stalls at local Libraries, which are located at local libraries:

Please let us know your are coming, so we can look out for you!
